Welcome to QuizWhiz. By downloading, installing, or using the QuizWhiz mobile application ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. About the App

QuizWhiz is a free trivia game that offers solo and multiplayer gameplay across 10 categories in 4 languages. The App is provided by QuizWhiz ("we", "our", or "us").

2. Eligibility

You may use the App if you are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have parental or guardian consent to use the App.

3. User Conduct

When using the App, you agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Cheat, exploit bugs, or use automated tools to gain unfair advantages.
• Use offensive, abusive, or inappropriate display names in multiplayer games.
• Attempt to disrupt multiplayer games for other players.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App.
• Use the App's content (questions, images, etc.) outside the App without permission.

4. Intellectual Property

All content in the App, including but not limited to trivia questions, graphics, logos, and design, is the property of QuizWhiz and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any App content without our written consent.

5. Game Features

The App provides features such as solo practice, real-time multiplayer, leaderboards, and statistics tracking. We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove features at any time without prior notice.

6. Availability

We strive to keep the App available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. Multiplayer features require an active internet connection.

7. Accounts and Data

The App may store game progress and statistics locally on your device. We are not responsible for data loss due to device failure, app uninstallation, or other causes. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, secure, or meet your specific requirements. Trivia questions are for entertainment purposes and may occasionally contain inaccuracies.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuizWhiz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (which is zero, as the App is free).

10. Termination

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms, without prior notice. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be resolved in the competent courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
